How to selflessly motivate others

JUST WITH A LITTLE ENCOURAGEMENT, WE CAN CHANGE THE WORLD FOR THE PEOPLE AROUND US

In this mean world, it a great thing to motivate and selflessly help others without expecting anything in return. Maybe our positive attitude and motivating words can help others realize their talents and abilities which are hidden for whatever reason.

We do not need any materialistic thing to do this. All we need to do is to give people positive feedback about their work and appreciate and encourage them to recognize their talents, if they are unaware of them due to any reason such as past trauma, lack of confidence, etc.

Let's look at a few ways in which we can help others even when we are not getting anything in return (except immense satisfaction 😍).

The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.

1. Appreciate others

Appreciation is really a great thing that we can do to motivate and help others for their accomplishments or even sticking to daily routines. This small act can prove extremely beneficial to others. It can give them a great boost in confidence and self-esteem.

2. Encourage others

This is one of the best things one can do for others, i.e. pushing them to achieve their goals and targets. Telling people nothing is impossible if one puts in sincere efforts and dedication. Becoming their support system. Letting them know that we understand and appreciate what they’re trying to do and in the end, it will all be worth it. Such encouragement will surely go to straight to the heart and give them courage.

3. Become an inspiration to others

We can become an inspiration to others with our fearless attitude and the courage to go against all odds, the zeal to deal with the toughest. By telling them about the times we hit rock bottom, but still didn't give up, we can give them hope. Remind them that there are many people who don't have the courage to do what they want because of the fear of failure, but life is all about overcoming challenges, not avoiding them.

4. Share influences

Which books have made a huge impact on our life? What sources of inspiration guide us in taking the most important decisions? Which quote or article always motivates us? We can share the influences that shaped us so that others can also benefit, like this one!

Give the world the best you have. And the best will come back to you.

5. Highlight the positive traits in people

We can make people realize the positive side of their character, it will remarkably motivate them to improve their performance in every way. Don't we all feel the motivation to do something better, if someone praises us? Then let's do it for others too!

Let’s tell them that now is the right time: not yesterday, not tomorrow. Let’s not wait for the right time. We can support others when they’re about to step back due to failure. Anyways, failure can teach us more lessons than success ever will!

Note: Let’s do all this with the simple aim to help people, not with an ulterior aim. The blessings we get from such acts are beyond anything we could ever ask for. The world is turning more selfish day by day.

Let’s all take the responsibility of keeping the little goodness alive in this world!

Selfless service alone gives the needed strength and courage to awaken the sleeping humanity in one's heart.

And also, we have all heard, what goes around, comes around ( sooner or later), but everything you do others will come back to you in most unexpected ways.

Hi Abigail, it's true that the world can sometimes be a mean and dark place. But there is also goodness and love in it. The world might surprise you!

I do this for others. But others do nothing but hurt me and criticise my efforts. A mean world, indeed
